Create A Meme

Objective

The goal of this activity is to help people connect social justice issues to the world around them by creating a meme.

Estimated Time: 10-15 minutes

Group Size: 3-5

Materials: Participants must have access to the internet on a device.

Instructions:

When learning about something that makes you rethink a previous perspective, can you make a connection to your life, your friends, current events and/or popular culture? Can you turn it into a meme? Work together with your group to think about ways to apply what you have learned about social justice or diversity to the real world. Then, create an original meme. (No downloading ones that already exist online.)

You can use any meme generator, but here is one option.
