Stereotyping in Mean Girls

This clip from Mean Girls is about the stereotyping of race by one of the main characters, Ms. Norbury. The principal announces that there is a new student in the class who just moved to the school from Africa. Ms. Norbury extends a welcome to a girl who is African-American, as opposed to whom the greeting was intended for, a White teenaged girl.
