Why I am an AHA Advocate: 

I am an AHA Advocate because there are too many injustices in the world and I believe everyone deserves a fair shot in life. Many people believe stereotypes and misconceptions that are harmful to both themselves and others on a large scale. Much of the prejudice some people hold is not expressed blatantly and is often shown through backhanded comments. In order to get people to be open-minded and free of prejudice towards marginalized groups of people, people need to share their stories and have empathy for each other.

Fun Fact: 

Many people on my father's side of the family live to 100 or older.
