Why I am an AHA Advocate: 

I am an AHA Advocate because I am a strong believer in justice and equity. As an aspiring clinician, I believe it is my responsibility to do what I can to address the systemic oppression my clients face that can get in the way of achieving their individual goals. I also have been inspired by mentors in my undergrad that have worked hard to stand up for their communities. 

Fun fact: 

I love being being involved with theater and have been on stage and behind the scenes in more shows than I can count since I was 10. One of my favorites is being involved with shadow casts of Rocky Horror Picture Show - something I have done for 5 years in a row!
