Why I am an AHA Advocate:
I am an AHA advocate because I believe that every person, regardless of who they are, deserves a voice in society. Each and every one of us has their own stories to tell, but not everyone is willing to listen. My hope is that being an AHA advocate allows me to hear and listen to the voice of every community, so I could understand who people are, their hopes and fears, and more importantly, to help people when they need me most.
Fun fact:
Music has been a part of my life for a very long time. I’ve been playing the alto saxophone since 5th grade. I’ve also been in choir for many years. I originally started out as a bass in choir, but believe it or not, I’m now a baritone.
