Why I am an AHA Advocate:
I became an AHA advocate to fight the real world problems of prejudice and discrimination and also so I can better understand the problems people go through. This will help me better myself as a soon-to-be officer in the U.S. Army. Coming from a small, almost all White, conservative town in Southern Indiana, I was never aware of the problems social groups other than those I faced. I believe it is important to understand these problems regardless of others' group or origin so that we can better understand one another and work together to make society a better place. I wanted to be part of this effort.
Fun Fact:
I have practiced martial arts for over ten years and have over 120 amateur fights underneath my belt. I have been professionally sponsored and have won competitions everywhere from Indianapolis to Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas.
Inspirational People:
My grandfather
Ed Epping (high school wrestling coach)
Tim Kennedy (Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter and Green Beret/Ranger)
